Free Jelly Belly Tour in Fairfield, CA

The Jelly Belly factory is located in Fairfield,CA.  It is a free tour that is offered to the public to learn how jelly belly beans are made and how they are packaged.  When you get there, you will receive a Jelly Belly boat hat to wear throughout the tour.  You are first shown a video about Jelly Belly and then they set you free on your self-guided tour.  Don't worry, you can't get lost.  While looking out the windows you can see what is happening on the factory floor.  One side is making the beans and polishing them in the drum while the other side is busy packaging them all up.  Along the tour, there are interactive activities to play to keep it fun. Once you are finished the tour, they hand you a packet of treats on your way out.

Once you are back on the main floor, there is a cafeteria where you can stop and grab lunch before you go. They have specialized jelly belly shaped sandwiches and pizza's.  They also have fries, wings, burgers, sandwiches and salads.  You can also grab something from the snack bar like ice cream, coffee, tea and other items.

There's also a shop that carries a variety of Jelly Belly products.  They do have a sample bar where you can sample a jelly belly before you buy it.  I stocked up on gifts from here.

Its a fun and quirky place to take your family.  The kids will love it!
