If you had planned on visiting the infamous lavender fields of  Provence in France but Covid-19 spoiled your plans this year, try visiting Botanical Specialties instead.  Located in the hills of Chilliwack, BC, there is a very beautiful and large lavender field where you can take your pictures and pretend you are in Provence, France.  

When you are done with your pictures, check out their little store on the grounds.  They sell everything from U-pick lavender to hand sanitizer, honey, tea and fresh lavender lemonade that you can try. Botanical Specialties is also the place to go if you are looking for the harder to find, natural remedies as well.  They carry Arnica sprays, which are great for speeding up healing, and essential oils along with catnip, lemon balm, osha, sweet chamomile and St. John's wort.  All of these herbs are grown on site.

Believe it or not, the Lavender Sour has been a best seller for them.  They receive orders for them all the time.

There aren't alot of visitors so you can have the fields almost all to yourself for your amazing photo shoot.  It's a great location for couples photos and for those solo female travellers looking for something interesting to do in Chilliwack. 

So, next time you are in the area, make sure you visit this wonderful little piece of heaven.  Besides, who doesn't like lavender?
